ABOUT ME
I am currently pursuing doctorate degree in Biomedical Engineering from Stony Brook University, US. My research interest includes finite element analysis of human hard tissues particularly knee and spine (lumbar), bone quantitative and qualitative analysis, whiplash associated disorder, and EEG brain activity.
Prior to joining Stony Brook University, I obtained M.Sc. in Biomedical Sciences & Engineering from Koç University, Turkey, and B.S. in Electrical Engineering from School of Science & Engineering, LUMS, Pakistan. Over the years, I have been involved in several projects ranging from short semester projects to comprehensive thesis research projects of 2 years duration.
During my undergraduate studies, I had privilege of completing Biology minor which enhanced my understanding of biological phenomenons. This knowledge of biological phenomnons coupled with engineering principles is driving factor for my involvement in interdisciplinary biomedical research. I have successfully completed a number of projects and able to publish some of these results.
